Uganda has criticised air travel restrictions imposed by countries including the United States over an Ebola outbreak which has spilt over from the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo as “unfair”.
Uganda confirmed two new Ebola cases on Friday, bringing the total to nine — including one fatality — since the outbreak was declared on May 15 in the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo.
Uganda’s health ministry said Friday it had confirmed an outbreak of the highly infectious Ebola virus, and that a man had died from the disease after travelling from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
