The Senate upheld the impeachment after a decisive vote, with 31 senators voting in favor and 9 against.
She was first impeached by the Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) due to several serious allegations. The charges against her included gross misconduct, abuse of office, and gross violation of the Constitution.
This was her third impeachment attempt, and the Senate upheld the decision, leading to her removal from office.
