Nana Mwafrika, Uganda’s Unstoppable Voice For Justice

Ugandan activist Nalongo Nana Mwafrika Mbarikiwa stands out as a voice of courage and unwavering commitment to justice.  She is a mother, a businesswoman and a passionate activist who has spent her life fighting for the rights of those who are often ignored or silenced.

Nana’s journey started at a young age when she realized that it was not enough to watch others suffer without taking action. From the busy streets of Kampala to speaking on global platforms, she has worked hard to bring attention to the issues affecting her community, all while standing up against the systems that try to hold people down.

Her story is one of strength and resilience. From fighting against corruption to advocating for the rights of marginalized groups, Nana has always been at the forefront of movements that aim to make the world a better place. Despite the hardships, including threats to her safety and even imprisonment, she has never given up on her mission for justice.

During a number of occasions, Nana has opened up about the struggles she has faced and the strength it took to keep going. She believes that for real change to happen, we must speak up, stand firm and never back down, no matter the odds.
