Asha D. Abinallah a.k.a AshaDii or Asha D is showing the world how technology and media can be used to empower women. From her work in Tanzania, Asha has become a trailblazer in the tech and media sectors, dedicated to breaking barriers and creating opportunities for women to thrive in the digital world.

Starting her career in 2011 with Jamii Media, Asha quickly rose to the challenge of using technology for good. She wasn’t just interested in the tech world, she wanted to change it. Through her company, Media Convergency, Asha focuses on solving digital challenges and ensuring that women have the tools and knowledge to succeed.

Her passion for helping women led her to partner with organizations like DW Akademie for the Women at Web project, which teaches young women how to use the internet for their personal and professional growth.

“It’s not easy, especially as a woman in tech,” Asha admits. “But when you believe in something, you keep going.”

Asha has faced challenges along the way, but her determination has only grown stronger. Through her work, she is showing that women can lead in technology and social change. Her journey is proof that, with the right support and knowledge, women can change the world.
