Azam Media Group has officially announced its acquisition of the Broadcasting Rights for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026.

The announcement was made by the Country Head, Mr. Ravi Kumar, who reaffirmed Azam Media Group’s commitment to delivering world-class sports entertainment to audiences across Kenya and the region.
Speaking during the press conference, Mr. Ravi described the acquisition as a major milestone for the company and football fans alike.

Azam TV will broadcast all 104 matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup live in HD, giving football fans complete access to every moment of the tournament, from the opening match to the final.
This is the largest tournament ever held, expanded from the previous 64 games to accommodate the 48 participating national teams. The tournament will be jointly hosted across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, with games distributed among the three countries as follows: United States: 78 matches, Mexico: 13 matches, Canada: 13 matches.
Africa will be represented by a record ten countries, among them the AFCON champions, Senegal, South Africa, Morocco, and the debutants, Cape Verde. The tournament will kick off on Thursday, 11th June 2026, with the opening match pitting host Mexico and South Africa. The highly awaited match opener will take place at the Estadio Banorte in Mexico City.
Fans will be able to enjoy the tournament for as little as Ksh 950, making the World Cup accessible to more households and reaffirming Azam Media Group’s mission to deliver quality entertainment for everyone.
