Fresh off their historic 22nd league title, Gor Mahia FC have received a major financial boost after renewing its sponsorship deal with Kansai Plascon Kenya Limited in a three-year agreement worth KSh 30 million.
The deal, signed at a Nairobi hotel, marks a significant step up from the club’s previous KSh5 million partnership deal with the leading paint manufacturer.

Managing Director Kota Enami led the Plascon delegation, while Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier headed the club’s management team with Patron Eliud Owalo overseeing the signing ceremony.
Under the terms of the renewed agreement, Gor Mahia will receive KSh7 million annually over three years, with a 10 percent increment in both the second and third years of the deal.
Beyond the annual package, Plascon has committed to supporting K’Ogalo’s CAF Champions League campaign with a minimum of KSh 1.5 million, recognising the club’s need for competitive resources on the continental stage.
The partnership also includes performance-based incentives. Plascon will reward the club for every league title won, every victory in the fiercely contested Mashemeji Derby against AFC Leopards and for achievements in CAF competitions.
Speaking after the signing, Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier welcomed the enhanced deal, describing it as a testament to the club’s growing brand and on-field success.
“We are grateful to Plascon for believing in this club. This renewed and improved partnership will go a long way in stabilising our operations as we prepare for the challenges of the CAF Champions League,” Rachier said.
Gor Mahia secured the sole Kenyan ticket to the CAF Champions League after reclaiming the league title they lost to Police FC in the 2024/2025 campaign.
With the Plascon deal now sealed, the club’s focus will firmly shift to mounting a serious challenge on the African stage.
