CHADEMA chairperson Tundu Lissu has been arraigned in the Kisutu Resident Court today, May 19, 2025, for a hearing of his treason and incitement charges.

Lissu was produced in Kisutu court under tight security with other police officer covering their faces.

‘’We are now okay! This is a public trial; let’s meet in public. They wanted it, let them get it’’ said Lissu, who had donned a white T-shirt with a sky-blue strip written ‘’No Reforms No Election’’

In today’s trial case, several leaders of the party, including members from the diplomatic corps, were also present

It should be noted that on May 6, 2025, the trial process was conducted via Zoom, where the Court gave the verdict for the case to be heard today and allowed Members of the public to attend.
