Mwabukusi Slams DPP And Police Over Fabricated Terrorism Charges Against Heche

The Tanganyika Law Society’s President, Boniface Mwabukusi, has issued a scathing critique of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and the Police Force. According to Mwabukusi, the accusations of terrorism against John Heche are baseless and an affront to the legal profession.

Mwabukusi lambasted the DPP and Police for their actions, stating that they are “pouring petrol on fire” with their practices of fabricating cases and trapping people. He emphasized that the security situation in the country is not an excuse for such actions, which only serve to embarrass the profession and provoke the public.

The TLS President also highlighted the case of John Heche, who he claims was illegally arrested and detained while the authorities were orchestrating the killings of civilians. Mwabukusi stressed that it’s time for the judiciary to refuse to be complicit in such actions and to uphold the rule of law.

”The security situation is not good, and your practice of fabricating cases to frame people is embarrassing the profession and is annoying. John Heche was illegally arrested and illegally detained, and the entire time you were planning the killings of civilians, you were illegally detaining him.” Warned Mwabukusi

Mwabukusi warned that the TLS is closely monitoring the situation and will provide legal assistance to Heche and other victims of police brutality. He emphasized that the society stands with citizens and the constitution, and will not stand idly by while the authorities abuse their power.

In a stern warning to the authorities, Mwabukusi cautioned against provoking the youth, who he described as intelligent and patient. He urged the authorities to exercise restraint and respect the rule of law, lest they face the consequences of their actions.

The statement has sparked a significant reaction, with many calling for greater accountability and respect for human rights from the authorities. As the situation continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how the authorities will respond to the TLS’s demands.
