The Nairobi County Government has revamped its Inoculation Centre at City Hall to enhance service provision and efficiency. The revamped centre is now equipped to serve up to 200 residents daily, doubling its previous capacity.
Speaking during the inspection visit, Public Health Chief Officer, Tom Nyakaba has revealed that the physical upgrades, new security features have been introduced on the yellow fever certificates to combat the issue of fake certificates.
“The staff at the néw look centre will also have proper identification badges for easy identification,” he stated.
These features include a new seal and other security measures designed to deter scammers and brokers. Residents seeking vaccination services will need a pass to access the centre, and staff will have proper identification badges for easy recognition.

The centre will also offer a range of other vaccinations, including Polio, Typhoid, Pneumococcal, Hepatitis B and C, and Anti-Rabies.
This initiative aims to improve the overall vaccination process and ensure the authenticity of the yellow fever certificates issued.
