Popular US rapper, Rich Homie Quan, has tragically passed away at the age of 34. Known for his hit songs Type of Way and Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh), the artist, whose real name was DeQuantes Devontay Lamar, was found unresponsive at his home in Atlanta on Thursday, September 5th, 2024.

Details Surrounding His Death

According to reports, Quan’s girlfriend, Amber Williams, discovered him unconscious upon returning home after picking up their son from school. Initially, she thought he was asleep and covered him with a blanket. However, when she returned later, she realized he was not breathing and had no pulse. Desperate, she called 911, describing how she had found him foaming at the mouth. Despite paramedics’ efforts, Quan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of death has not yet been established however some unverified reports suggest a possible overdose, although this remains speculative.
