President William Ruto’s five-day development tour of Nairobi County has entered its third day.

Today, he is expected to visit Dagoretti North, Dagoretti South, Embakasi South, and Westlands.

The tour, which began on Monday, March 10, has seen the President launch and inspect various major development projects across the city.

On the first day, Ruto commissioned the Kamukunji Technical Vocational College, launched the new Eastleigh Market, and inspected the Shauri Moyo affordable housing project.

He also unveiled the Ksh50 billion Nairobi River Regeneration and Engineering Works Programme, which includes the construction of a 60-kilometer sewer line, 50,000 affordable housing units, and the creation of 40,000 jobs.

On the second day, the President visited Mathare, where he launched the construction of an 800-bed dormitory at St Teresa’s Secondary School and urged Kenyans to shun divisive politics.

Today, as he continues his tour, Ruto is set to advance his development agenda in Dagoretti North, Dagoretti South, Embakasi South, and Westlands.
