Kenya’s Wadau Champion League, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, unveiled betting firm White Rabbit (WR) Bet, Uhlsport Kenya, and Absa Sports Club as its new sponsors for a period of one year.
WRBet Kenya alone has pumped in Kshs 5 million with 500,000 allocated for every match day while uhlsport will be Wadau Champions League’s 2025 kits and match balls sponsors at a tune of Kshs. 1,750,000. Absa Sports Club will act as Wadau’s Home Venue.
Speaking during a colorful ceremony held at a Nairobi Hotel, Wadau Champions League Chief Executive Officer Bob Collins Otieno described the partnership as a game-changer that will greatly elevate football in Kenya.
‘’The reason why we chose WR Bet Kenya is because we want to grow together. Our objects as Wadau align and complement each other. We saw your aims not only focus on your growth as a product but also impacting the community’’ said Bob Otieno.
‘’We will continue contributing and ensure we engage in governance and commercialization discourse in football and ensure that we help football administrators at all levels from branch to national levels. This is to try to transform our football to regain the lost glory’’ Bob added.
WR Bet chief operating officer Humphrey Muswanyi noted that if all the objectives of the two sides are met, the deal will become even more lucrative over time.

Wadau Champions League is a non-professional league that involves grassroots football, fans, and retired professional football players
