Tusker Malt Anchors the Chairman’s Cup at Nairobi’s Polo Season Finale

Tusker Malt’s polo team, Raphael Nzomo, Hiromi Nzomo, Kelvin Jumba, and Michelle Morgan, held BMW to a gripping 4–4 draw in the Chairman’s Cup final at the Nairobi Polo Club on Sunday evening, capping off a high-intensity showdown in one of Kenya’s premier polo fixtures.

The two-day tournament showcased an adrenaline-fueled spectacle paired with art, sportsmanship, and culture.

For five years, the partnership between Tusker Malt and Nairobi Polo Club has demonstrated Tusker Malt’s belief in celebrating refined sports, craftsmanship, and shared connection. These values mirror the discipline and prestige of both polo and the brew.

At the Tournament, Tusker Malt elevated the tournament experience by offering attendees a unique craft station where they would host polo fans while showcasing the malt brewing process.  Speaking at the event, Rediet Yigezu, Senior Brand Manager Premium Beer, highlighted.

“It has been a proud moment to partner with Nairobi Polo throughout this season, as polo has provided us with a platform that elevates the Nairobi social scene through premium experiences, connections and interactions with our customers and partners. As the curtains fall for the season, we promise to deliver a memorable experience and give our customers a glimpse into the delicate artistry behind the distinct taste of the beer.”

This involvement builds on the brand’s support for polo, having sponsored the tournaments throughout the season, with activations on select events including the Lagos Incoming Tour with teams from Nigeria and Kenya competing for the Simon Kuseyo Memorial Cup; the Kenya International Cup, a high-profile match between Kenya and South Africa held in September 2025; and the upcoming Chairman’s Cup.
