Chadema wants commission of inquiry constituted to investigate cases of enforced disappearances In Tanzania

Tanzania’s main opposition party, Chadema has called on President Samia Suluhu Hassan to form a special judicial commission to investigate alleged incidences of abduction and torture against its citizens that continue to be witnessed in the country.

Mbowe has squarely laid the blame on the Tanzania Police force for abductions mainly targeting Chadema Members

“We want the president to quickly ensure this nation is for all of us by bringing back peace, unity, and stability to the nation. She should immediately form a judicial commission to investigate what is being said,” said the chairman.

Mbowe wants all those police officers mentioned concerning unwarranted arrests to be investigated and proper action taken against them.
