Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi announced that these MOUs will promote bilateral partnerships and open new avenues for collaboration in these fields.

The agreements were signed in Budapest with Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó.

In the education sector, Hungary has committed to offering 200 scholarships annually to Kenyan students through the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme.

This initiative aims to enhance people-to-people cooperation and foster positive transformations across multiple sectors of the economies.

In the agricultural sector, the two countries have agreed to exchange expertise and best practices to boost agricultural productivity. Hungary has already established a demonstration farm in Kenya to showcase its agricultural technology and innovation, serving as a model for modern and sustainable farming practices.

Mudavadi arrived in Hungary on March 10, 2025, on a state visit.
