Acting Inspector General of Police Gilbert Masengeli once again fails to appear in court as expected.

Court had ordered Acting IG Gilbert  Masengeli to appear in court by 3pm to explain the whereabouts of activist  Robert Njagi and two brothers allegedly abducted by police at Kitengela August 19 2024.

According to the reports that court received earlier today, was that the Acting IG was away for a workshop in Mombasa and could therefore not attend court.

The Acting Police IG, has failed for the third to present himself before the court as ordered.

The court sought his audience so that he could explain why he should not be held in contempt of court over a missing persons case.

This order is needed before the court to provide information regarding the disappearance of two brothers and an activist.
