A confidential witness in the treason case against CHADEMA Chairman Tundu Lissu told the High Court on Wednesday that he is afraid to testify publicly, describing the matter as “very sensitive” and expressing concern about backlash from party supporters.
The 26-year-old witness, whose identity was withheld by the court for protection, made the remarks while responding to questions from Lissu after being examined by state prosecutors.

The court adjourned after the witness completed his testimony under cross-examination.
