Charles, who revealed in February 2024 that he was receiving treatment for cancer, will be on tour from October 27 until November 4.

He will first travel to the Bahamas, where he is also head of state and last visited in 1973, without Camilla.

Charles will then undertake a solo state visit in Guyana “to mark 60 years of bilateral relations” between the UK and the South American country, the palace said in a press release.

The king and queen will then attend the Commonwealth meeting in Antigua and Barbuda, which runs from November 1 and November 4.

The palace said the tour would “celebrate communities, cultures and nature within the Commonwealth family”.

Charles has visited all of the countries on the trip before, but it will be Camilla’s first official visit to Antigua and Barbuda, according to the palace.

In April, the royals made a state visit to the United States, where they were hosted by President Donald Trump.

Wednesday’s announcement coincided with the news that Charles’s younger son Prince Harry has returned to the UK with his wife Meghan and their two children for an unspecified amount of time.
