BET Awards 2023: Burna Boy Wins Best International Act

Nigeria’s afrobeat superstar Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy secured the Best International Act Award

The 23rd edition of the BET Awards 2023 took place on Sunday night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The awards, which honour the year’s best performances in music, TV, film and sports, followed in the footsteps of many other awards broadcasts and went without a host for its 50th anniversary.

Nigeria’s afrobeat superstar Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy secured the Best International Act Award.

Tems also managed to scoop the “Best Collaboration” award for contributing to Future’s ‘Wait For U’ featuring Canadian rapper Drake.
Singer Davido also delivered an electrifying performance at the event.
